Les Arcs : resort presentation
The area of Les Arcs is divided into several resorts : Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000 as well as other villages : Villaroger, Vallandry and Plan Peisey. This set of joined resorts brings a diversity and a wealth of landscapes which must be observed. All those resorts can be discovered in downhill skiing, paragliding, snowshoes, ski-joering, cross-country skiing, etc.
The main activity stay the downhill skiing, with the link since 2004 to la Plagne, which opens up endlessly skiing perspectives. With 239 ski-runs on about 425 km, Paradiski is one of the biggest skiing mountain areas of the world. The extreme variety of the ski-runs make it accessible for everybody, whichever the level, the style and the practice. Its many designing allow to practice all the kinds of skiing and snowboarding. A site to measure for the novices as well as the most practised. At least, its area and its different altitude levels (from 1200 to 3250 m) offers to the holidaymakers a multitude of landscapes and two equiped glaciers for better savouring the skiing and the snowboarding life-size.
Arc 1800 : village presentation
Very wooded, bathed with sunlight and dominating all the valley, Arc 1800 is the biggest resort of Les Arcs, it is composed of 4 villages : Le Charvet, les Villards, le Chantel and Charmettoger. At the bottom of the massif of l'Aiguille Grive and in front of the Mont-Blanc, the 4 villages of Arc 1800 are 4 gates opened on the pleasure to live and to ski, that you are alone or you come with somebody. Its residences in harmony with the surrounding forests invite you to enjoy fully of the large spaces which surround you. Its shopping arcades, the large activities programmed on all the season guarantee you an intense and very lively stay. Pedestrian resort placed in the heart of the skiing area of Les Arcs, its ski-runs take you in the heart of Paradiski, thanks to modern and high-performance ski lifts.
The sun, the snow and the respect of the nature are the greatest assets of Arc 1800, winter as well as summer. The resort suggests a multitude of sports, leisure, activities, but also a cordial mood at the end of the day in many bars, restaurants, hotels, shops and nightclubs. Your passions have the place of honour ! Of course, the resort offer a system of day nurseries for the very young children in order to allow the parents to enjoy the area developped for skiing.
